Yes — all true soap is made with lye (sodium hydroxide). It’s the key ingredient that reacts with oils and milk in a process called saponification, turning them into real soap.

Once the reaction is complete, no lye remains. Every batch is pH tested and cured for at least six weeks to ensure a safe, gentle, and skin-loving bar.

Every bar of Handcrafted 1345 soap is made by hand in small batches in Texas. Our home goods and accessories are either handmade or strategically sourced from artisan partners who share our standards for quality, comfort, and authenticity.

Our Hearth & Home items — such as pillows, blankets, apparel, and select home goods — are fulfilled and shipped separately from our production partners.

These items will arrive in a separate package with their own tracking number and may ship at a slightly different time than your soap or lotion order.

📦 FAQ: What if my order shows “Delivered” but I didn’t receive it?

Once a package has been marked “Delivered” by the carrier, ownership transfers to the customer.

If your order shows delivered but you can’t locate it:

• Double-check your address and any alternate delivery spots (porch, mailbox, parcel locker, neighbor, etc.).
  
• Allow 24 hours — sometimes USPS marks packages early.
  
• If it still hasn’t arrived after that time, please contact your local USPS office directly for assistance.
